Renewable installations are historically our core expertise. Nevertheless, we know we are only ever as good as our last installation.

Despite the competitive market, we have consistently demonstrated our competence in never having lost a client or a single ongoing Operations and Management contract post installation.

Solar PV Installation

We build tailored Solar PV installations designed to generate the best possible investment returns (payback period / IRR / NPV) using investment banking-standard financial modelling.

We cover every aspect of the process - from initial Modelling to Planning and Development, Contracting and Installation, and finally Operations and Maintenance.

Battery Storage (BESS)

Battery installations have provided our customers with:

  • Storing excess solar energy for usage when the sun goes down

  • Off peak / Night charging to allow:

    • Electricity (kWh) savings in the day / peak demand times

    • “Behind the meter” additional kWh capability to mitigate breaching chargeable DNO set Assured Supply Capacity (ASC) and mitigating the requirement for additional DNO supply upgrades

    • Aiding DC Rapid Charge EV roll outs through cheaper energy usage

Operations & Maintenance

Even if we have not installed your Solar PV, we fulfill many O&M contracts to make sure existing installations are as effective as possible (despite linear panel degradation) and to ensure fire safety compliance to keep up with ever stricter insurance requirements.

Decommissioning of existing installations

Earthrise Energy has experience in the growing decommissioning industry subsector. By coordinating with local planning authorities, we create Decommissioning Environmental Management Plans (DEMP) and abide by the UK’s WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations to recycle as much of an aged installation as possible.

All this is done prior to reassessing future installations that match a client’s electrical usage or function, despite the loss of past UK Government back Feed in Tarriff (FiT) prices.

EV Charging

We offer:

  • Rapid Charge DC installations to service fleet vehicles or to permit significant additional revenue streams for commercial property locations well-suited to material wheel fall.

  • AC installations to service client tenants as well as external parties.

All installations are covered under OZEV government grants using our bespoke DC and AC EV models with significant comparable data to mitigate investment risk.

Building Automation and Energy Management

We are working in partnership with Cambridge University startup xWatts to install IoT (Internet of Things) devices and to integrate Building Management Systems (BMSs) in order to allow AI-backed smart energy management software to facilitate predictive control in reducing costs and emissions.
